Teriberka Village is one of the most popular destinations in Russia now. It is located on the coast of the Arctic Ocean (the Barents Sea), on its easily accessible part in the world for untrained traveler.
You will visit one of the most northern sand beach in the world, cemetery of old fishing boats and other interesting places. You will also visit beach with huge round boulders, looking like dinosaur’s eggs and a waterfall, falling to the Arctic Ocean from the lake which got frozen wintertime.
The last sights are located on a Natural park area so it’s possible to visit on foot only. Walking distance is around 5 kilometres.
If you don’t want or can’t walk in a winter Arctic conditions, we can offer a Snowmobile-sledges ride to alternative route along the ocean’s coast. But only if snow cover
is enough for the snowmobiles (30 centimeters at least). Inform us in advance please.
